And the Wind Blows Toddler Art

Today has been one of those days, where it takes a lot of energy to go out. With Baobao still ill, Xiaobao looking like she's coming down with something and me still injured from Saturday, staying home seemed like a good bet.

With that in mind, we decided to watch the wind for a while. I was reminded of an art technique I had done with the children in school. You drip paint on to paper and then blow it across. I explained it to Baobao and we decided to pretend to be the wind - hoowoo.

Here are our wind pictures:

Baobao chose colours that made her think of wind. We used watered down acrylic paint.

Baobao dripped the watered down paint on to paper
Then she blew the paint across the paper using a straw, pretending to be the wind.

Our finished wind inspired paintings.
